Yakko needs some updates/revisions to various pages/technologies/etc.

Pages to update/remove
Add a description about why you think a certain page should be updated/added/removed.
- Club Services - Presentations are on the menu, mailing lists don't seem to be used, and the member page list can put on the menu where people will find it.
- Mailing List Service - Does anyone use this? If not just remove them and any mention.
- Remove "Computer Club Computers" - It can be a paragraph on the membership page. We don't need an inventory.
- Remove the Information Page - The disclaimer should be listed in the footer or the menu. The constituion could be listed on the menu where people will actually see it. The projects are out of date and always will be. If someone wants something, put it in the wiki.
- Home page - Office Hours should be updated, do we need events and news? Seems like one is enough.
Technology
Add any technologies on the server which need to be updated/added.
- Mailing lists
- Certs for HTTPS - set up CACert.org account, or piggyback on CS Dept. certs for various encrypted web/mail services
URL
There is talk of updating the cclub url to http://cclub.wmich.edu
Argument for
- Aligns us with the university as a whole, rather than just the cs department.
- SEO will likely give us better rankings for our higher-level domain.
- Domain is easier to remember and it doesn't include the name of an obscure cartoon character.
Argument against
- The cs department and the computer club have enjoyed a long beneficial relationship.
- We don't have any need to be affiliated with the university as a whole.
- http://yakko.cs.wmich.edu has been the the cclub's url for ages and we shouldn't change it (note: a redirect will likely be in place in perpetuity to any new url).
- SEO will take some time to update and we may lose some links in the changeover.
